O.k. ruwkus, the madness started two weeks ago and now the Elite 8, #7 Florida v #4 Louisville, #2 Ohio State v. #1 Syracuse, #3 Baylor v. #1 Univ of Kentucky and #2 Kansas v. #1 Univ of North Carolina. Stories galore, teacher versus pupil in Florida v Louisville, old school versus new school in Kansas v North Carolina and who’s staying in college and who’s going pro after the toruney! Not to mention who’s the new hot coaching candidate coming out of this year’s version of madness!!!?! So here’s the Sportsfiend’s probable FINAL FOUR – U.K. v. U.L. and O.S.U v U.N.C.!! Let’s roll the dice ruwkus….WHO YOU GOT!?
And then there was Four……

Water-downed, boring, bracket-busting, too many Cinderallas..call the tourney whatever you’d like but you CAN’T call it PREDICTABLE…even Mr. Hope himself, Prez Obama, didn’t foresee these last four teams would still be DANCING..and that’s the beauty and the perfect imperfection of the NCAA tourney…now let me offer my preview of this weekend’s upcoming show-downs…Ill try my best to put my bracket bias aside for now and dissect these interesting match ups..Coach Huggy and the Mountees are the hottest team in the country and seem destined to cut the nets down at the end but you also have to commend Coach K and his Dukies for climbing back to the top of the mountain…they do it with team D, restless rebounding and dead eye 3 point shooting…next up we have MSU and Butler..the ultimate “Blue Collar” game…Coach Izzo some how, some way gets his team to buy in and the results are repeat long runs in the tourney despite their regular season ups and downs..he gets them ready to play hard every night and adding a lil intrigue to their road to glory is famed alumni Earvin “Magic” Johnson who’s always fun to watch as he cheers his former school on from the stands and in the locker room..with all that being said I still like the guys from Butler to prevail…hard nosed, gritty and on a mission to shake the “Mid-major” label..Shelvin Mack is consummate floor general and his soldiers follow to beat of his drum…viewers at home may need to break out the knee and elbow pads just to watch this contest bcuz it will be Physical with a capital P….Enjoy!!!!
