NFL Draft ’12 is over and for 5th time QB’s go 1st and 2nd..who’s going to be the star?!?!!!?

O.k. friends its over, #1 pick by Indianapolis Colts QB – Andrew Luck and last pick #253 by same team QB Chandler Harnish. So what do we now know, that for the fifth time, quarterbacks were taken 1st and 2nd in the NFL Draft.

2012 – 1st Andrew Luck – Indy / 2nd Robert Griffin III – Washington

1999 – 1st Tim Couch – Cleveland/2nd Donovan McNabb – Philly / 3rd Akili Smith – Cincy

1998 – 1st Peyton Manning – Indy /2nd Ryan Leaf – San Diego

1993 – 1st Drew Bledsoe – New England/2nd Rick Mirer – Seattle

1971 – 1st Jim Plunkett – Boston /2nd Archie Manning – New Orleans /Dan Pastorini – Houston

So as history as shown us when QB’s are drafted in the same round and especially 1 and 2 success is limited to one of the QB’s. But history is about to be turned around both Luck & Griffin III will be able to reach the 80 games started plateau and with success!!!

Heisman Hype in full force, but who’s the winner!!!??!!

O.k. friendz the Heisman hype has boiled down to four finalist; LaMichael James, Andrew Luck, Kellen Moore & Cam Newton (what no J.Blackmon?!!!??) and they’ve all punched a ticket to the downtown athletic club for the December selection to the storied membership of the top USA college male football player. Here’s how they fared this season:

LaMichael James (RB-Oregon Ducks) – a running back of the highest octane. This running b is on the highest running octane offense on the top scoring team in the nation coming from the Pac-10. LJ’s #’s for the year; 281 carries – 1,682 yards, for a 6.0 average with 21 TD’s (also broke off a 76 yd long run).

Andrew Luck (QB-Stanford Cardinal) – another Pac-10 finalist at quarterback, Luck is running the offense with Coach H instilling the toughness the Pac-10 is not usually associated with. Luck has the luck, team, coach, conference clout (recently earned) to pull out the Heisman for the Cardinal faithful! Lucks #’s for the year; / completions – 3,501 yards – 28TDS/7 INTS

Kellen Moore (QB-Boise St Broncos) – a representer of mathom proportions, K.Moore comes from the outer realms of college football ranks as he reps not only for the B State Broncos but the whole Western Athletic Conference and all non thought BCS type conferences. But Moore and the Broncos have held their own, with Moore having the chance to rep with numbers and added visibility! Moore’s #’s for the year; 245/345 completions – 3,506 yards – 33 TDS/5 INTS

Cameron Newton (QB-Auburn Tigers) – what can’t be said bout Cam “telflon qb” Newton and the Newton family.!!!??! With the play-for-pay scheme uncovered, allegedly initiated by poppa Newt off the field and the stellar play on the field its been 1 hellova season for the Auburn Tigers, Cam Newton and the SEC!! The odds on favorite to win and loose the Heisman all in one convoluted & corresponded sports story! Newton’s #’s for the year;PASSING – / completions – 2,589 yards – 28 TDS/7 INTS /RUSHING – attempt – 1,419 – 20 TDS

All boils down to the shine of the DAC, the Heisman Trust and the opinion(s) and mind-set of the voters. Fiend’s take is they don’t wont the added luster coming off again so soon after the Reggie Bush give-back luster shine-off episode. So I believe the trophy goes to LJ of the Oregon Ducks, ending all the talk, speculation and possible down the line scandal..fiend out!!!!
