MNF Preview….

All right football fans tonight might be the night you wanna catch up your missed shows on the DVR…two of NFL’s worst teams take center stage as the San Francisco
49ers (3-7) will match up against the Arizona Cardinals (3-7) in Glendale, Arizona. I’ve taken the liberty of re-naming the division…how does the NFC “Less” sound?? Don’t worry it’ll grow on you!! Regardless of these two teams lack of success this year, like they say in Hollywood, the show must go on!!!
The 49ers are win less on the road and the Cardinals haven’t scratched the win column in more than a month, however, there is a silver lining…the winner tonight as well as the loser will still have a fighting chance to make the playoffs. So the stakes are high are on both sides and with a handful of games left in the regular season..it’s definitely now or never time!!! And, if additional intrigue was needed…The “Not For Long” League has reared it’s ugly head in Dallas and Minnesota so these two coaches may in fact be coaching for their jobs…
Keys to success for the 49ers will be their ability to run the ball with Frank Gore..which will open up the passing game for Troy Smith. So ultimately the responsibility falls back on the O-Line. They were manhandled against the Bucs last week so hopefully they had a back to the basics type week a practice to address the issue… The Cardinals have had a QB carousel of their own deal with this year and if they wanna win tonight they must limit the turnovers, keep the home crowd involved, and get the ball to playmakers Fitzgerald and Breaston early and often in the game!!! It won’t be pretty tonight friendz, but somebody has to win!! I think….
Pep’s prediction- I’m picking the 49ers to win the Ugly Bowl. Frank Gore will run thru and over Cardinal defenders en route to a 20-17 victory for the visiting team. Keep HOPE alive!!!
