Guess who’s back and at the most opportunistic time!!??!!
Well it was fun while it lasted, no more Peace in the National Basketball Association (NBA), right in time for the 2nd season. Where 16 teams join the quest for the Larry O’Brien Trophy! But one team the L.A. Lakers will be without there ever enigma of a player the artist formerly known as Metta WorldPeace and bringing back recalls for all in the name of Mr. Ron Artest!
Worldpeace was suspended by the NBA for 7 games for the elbow to the head of OKC Thunder player J. Harden in a game last week between the two playoff bound teams. Now as it has been commentated, written, tweeted, blogged and prophesied we have all been fooled and bamboozled into this given new persona of Metta WorldPeace when the true issue is that he never changed it was just the latest transformation or dormant from what you say? Maybe it was his first transgression in Dec ’02, or Jan ’03 (x2), March ’03, March ’04, Apr ’04, May ’04, Nov ’04, April ’06, Jul ’07 & May ’11. (Peace Out, Starvo LA Times/Sports)
So lucky as the Lakers F may have made out in only getting 7 gms losing $347,849 for his 10th suspension since ’03 the deeper loser is Mr. Harden who could have been seriously injured and on national television kind of reminiscent of another Laker Washington’s infamous punch out of Tomjanovich. Or the OKC squad primed and ready for a postseason run at the Larry O, down top 6th man Harden. Or maybe even Worldpeace himself who would show some depth of his position and finally turn a corner and set himself out and start looking in the mirror! No to them all cause the true loser is the fan, cause we have to be a fan through it all!
